Beware of Telemarketers Who Sell Expensive Magazine Subscriptions

Watchdog Nation founder Dave Lieber says, “When I listened to the tape of the fast-talking telephone solicitor trying to sell the elderly man magazine subscriptions that turned out to cost $1,500 for five years, I realized that ‘fast-talking’ doesn’t begin to explain it. This salesman talked so fast that I listened to the recording of the phone call six times, and I still don’t know what he said.”
