The following is a signed statement from Lindsay Schmitt, formerly Christensen, of Hebron, who worked at the Connecticut Humane Society as an animal behaviorist and wanted to give the public her first-hand account at how she, other employees, and animals were treated by President/Chairman Richard Johnston and his management team. She worked there for one year before
